Mentor Wanted
Maybe it’s because I’m about to turn 25, or because Mercury is about to go into retrograde. I’ve been thinking a lot the past few months about mentors. More recently the topic seems to keep resurfacing everywhere I turn. It must be a sign, right?
Mentorship comes in many shapes and sizes. I’m fortunate to have had some fabulous teachers and friends to look toward for guidance. And more recently with Twitter, 140 character tid-bits from people like @onthefringe.
But it’s not quite enough, it’s time to grow again. I’ve been considering Grad School, but I learn best through experience. This also got me thinking about Seth Godin’s Alternative MBA apprenticeship. I need guidance, a confidant, someone to learn from or better yet to help me learn something about myself.
